ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Asif Ali Zardari said it would be an irreparable damage if the sitting government was not sent packing, ARY News reported Wednesday.
Speaking to media after meeting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Zardari said it was expected a strategy would be finalized to deal with the current situation.
“The amount of damage cannot be covered if the government not shown the door at the earliest.”

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazl said he also met Nawaz Sharif and discussed political and other issues. “However, the meeting with Asif Ali Zardari was a luncheon gathering and wasn’t beyond that,” he added.
He underlined that: ‘we are not in a position to give any surprise.’
Yesterday (April 9), Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s attempt to unite opposition and give tough time to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government remained unsuccessful as the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif apologized to be a part of the anti-government movement, said sources.
Revealing the inside story of the meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Fazlur Rahman today, the sources said that JUI-F chief urged Nawaz Sharif to be a part of anti-government drive and play his political role to topple the current government. Fazlur Rahman was of the view that all the political parties should jointly launch an anti-government movement in the country.
