Young man confesses to killing married sister ‘in the name of honor’

GUJRANWALA: A young man in Gujranwala has confessed to killing her sister by poisoning in the so-called name of honor, ARY News reported.

The victim woman, Samina BiBi had just got married five days before she was murdered.

The manslayer, Sajawal, stated he was dubious about his sister’s character, hence he fed his sister poisonous tablets.

“Even after one week of getting married my sister used to talk on phone with somebody. Which enraged me and I fed her toxicant tablets,” he confessed in an interview recorded in a video clip.

Police said Samina got married to Saqib five days before she was killed. They said interrogation from the suspect is still underway.
