Young girl, old man injured in Indian forces’ firing across LoC

RAWALPINDI: Indian forces once again resorted to unprovoked firing on Sunday across the Line of Control (LoC) near Chirri Kot sector and left a young girl and an old man badly injured, ARY News reported.

“India has resorted to unprovoked firing along the LoC in Chirri Kot sector, targeting the civil population of Village Chaffar,” said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

ISPR said a 60-year-old  man and a 15-year-old girl were injured due to Indian firing.  Both the injured have been shifted to civil Hospital Abbaspur.

Pakistani troops effectively responded to the Indian firing, it added.
