Yasin Malik shifted back to jail amid medical treatment

SRINGAR: Leader of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Yasin Malik has been shifted back to central jail by Indian Army without completing his medical treatment, ARY News reported.

He was admitted to hospital six days back after his condition worsened due to administering of a wrong injection. He had suffered the infection on his hand on October 21.

According to details, Indian Army has shifted him back to jail in the middle of treatment.

Yasin Malik was arrested on charge of protesting against killing of martyr freedom fighter Burhan Wani.

Organisations of human rights, Kashmiri leaders and Malik’s family members have demanded immediate release of the Hurriyat leader and condemned Indian military’s inhuman behavior in held Kashmir.

The Foreign Office has strongly deplored the ‘torturous condition’ of Yasin Malik, and said that the several Kashmiri leaders including Mirwaiz Omer Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Aasiya Andrabi remain under custody.

Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria condemned the Indian forces genocide, crimes against humanity and blatant human rights violations in held-Kashmir.
