What does PM have to hide from the nation, asks Bilawal

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in his tweet on Sunday, said that the prime minister asked Supreme Court (SC) to investigate all the finance of the country from the days of Quaid-e-Azam till present instead of forming a commission to probe the allegations mentioned in the Panama Leaks.

PPP chief, in his tweet on Friday, had asked PM Sharif to resign as the prime minister was addressing the nation.

Bilawal’s tweet on Friday was considered to be a major development as PPP had not demanded the prime minister’s resignation.

Nawaz Sharif had claimed during his address that he was innocent and also announced he would write a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to form a judicial commission to probe the Panama papers controversy.

The judicial commission to probe the allegations in the Panama Papers will only be made after Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali returns from his visit to Turkey.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari met with Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad in Islamabad earlier. The two political leaders had discussed the on-going situation of Pakistani politics at length, particularly the Panama leaks controversy.
