“I received the first such SMS in October 2013 and discussed the issue with my father, who said that I should wait and watch and if such messages come again, we will see,” said Gulalai in an interview with ARY News.
She added that such messages kept coming but she decided to ignore such messages and focus on the relevant issues PTI was raising and her duties as an MNA.
The MNA said that she was in PPP before joining PTI and the party had a very different and safe environment for women.
About the proof to support her allegations, Gulalai claimed that she has proofs but will show them in the court when the time will come.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Ayesha Gulalai had said that one of her reasons to leave the party was that the party chief Imran Khan and his cronies send indecent text messages to female members.
She, however, did not provide any proof and said that investigators and media should check PTI chief’s phone for the proof.
NEVER SENT HIM A MARRIAGE PROPOSAL
About the news reports that she wanted Imran Khan to marry her or sent him a marriage proposal, Gulalai said that she condemns this malicious propaganda.
“Can I offer him marriage? he is years older than me, I condemn this allegation and want to know what is the source or proof of this news?” asked Gulalai.

Gulalai also slammed PTI leaders and workers for targeting her sister, Maria Toorpakai Wazir (top ranked female squash player), after her press conference.
“My sister is a Pakistan’s number one squash player as my father encourages us to choose the profession of our choice. There is a difference in wearing a particular sports uniform and sending immoral text messages,” explained Ayesha Gulalai.
Ayesha Gulalai’s sister Maria Toorpakay Wazir is a professional squash player. She became the first tribal Pakistani girl in international squash tournaments, turning professional in 2006. In August 2007, the President of Pakistan bestowed the Salaam Pakistan Award upon her.
Ayesha rejected the claims that she met PML-N leader Ameer Muqam or directly demanded party ticket for NA-1 constituency and said that she only proposed the idea after informing the party chief about the difficulties the people of the constituency are facing.
She also vowed to sue all those who are claiming that she took money to defame Imran Khan.
It is pertinent to note here that a reference was filed with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s disqualification as a lawmaker citing the harassment allegations levelled by Ayesha Gulalai.
On the other hand, PTI served a legal notice to Gulalai to prove her harassment allegations Imran Khan or apologise, otherwise she would be sued for Rs30 million.
