UC Chairman, wife, five more found dead inside Larkana home

LARKANA: Chairman Union Council (UC) 15, his wife and five others in the family were found dead on Sunday under mysterious circumstances, ARY News reported.

According to details, all seven people died within a span of a week.

The dead included the couple, two more women and three men.

The authorities have taken cognizance of the development and the neighborhood of Khichi where the unfortunate incident took place has been sealed.

Commissioner Nauman Siddique informed that three streets on either side of the neighborhood will be sealed by tonight.

Earlier on April 20, In what appeared to be an effective policing at entry and exit points in the city to enforce coronavirus lockdown, Karachi police foiled a bid from a group of people to leave the city in an ambulance with a dead body.

According to SSP Malir Ali Raza, an ambulance was moving out from the city with a dead body and 10 other family members when police intercepted the vehicle within Gadap Town police station remits.

The personnel found a man lying on the ambulance stretcher, pretending to be dead. However, during an in-depth probe and questioning, it was found that they were travelling to Dipalpur, a city in Okara district.
