MULTAN: A helicopter of Pakistan Army was crashed in Multan during a training exercise, killing two pilots, ARY News reported.
The plane crashed at Multan run way due to a technical fault. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), military’s public affairs wing, both the pilots were on a training mission on Wednesday night when the incident occurred.
The deceased pilots of army aviation were identified as Major Yasir and Captain Murtaza. ISPR confirmed the crashing resulted due to a technical glitch in the plane.
“Two army aviation pilots embraced martyrdom when their helicopter crashed during a night flying training mission due to a technical fault at Multan tonight,” the military said in a statement.
