ISLAMABAD: A two-day International Rehmatal-Lil-Aalameen Conference will begin in Islamabad on Tuesday under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
Prime Minster Imran Khan will be the chief guest at the opening session while President Dr Arif Alvi will preside the closing session.
Prominent ulema and mashaikh, scholars and foreign delegates will participate in the conference and throw light on various aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).
Awards and prizes will also be distributed among the position holders in Seerat Books, Maqala-e-Seerat and Naats.

State media channels will broadcast the proceedings of the conference live.
Earlier in a statement, Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that the government had decided to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) with religious fervour and enthusiasm.
