Sources said that the security personnel were carrying out a search operation in Haripur’s Pind Ghakhara area when the terrorists opened fire at them. The attackers were killed in the retaliatory fire of the law enforcement personnel.
A security official was also killed in the exchange of fire whereas another sustained injuries.
One suspected person was arrested from the crime scene as well.
The slain saboteurs were identified as Javed, Ahmed and Naheed Bibi. Their bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Haripur.
