According to police, those died in a blaze included two children and four women. The incident occurred near Keti Bandar where several shanties are set up.
Police said cause of the fire could not be ascertained as yet. The deceased were moved to a local hospital.
“We are investigating the incident and will share facts as soon as they are divulged” said police.
