Speaker NA summons important in-camera meeting tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has summoned an important in-camera meeting, ARY News reported citing sources.

According to sources, the in-camera meeting of the National Assembly will start at 02:30 pm tomorrow (April 14) in the assembly hall. 

The National Assembly speaker has invited all the federal ministers, members of the parliament and personal assistants, sources added.

Sources said that the senior military leadership will brief the national assembly on national security affairs.

Earlier, four Pakistan Army personnel embraced martyred in a terrorist attack on the Pakistan-Iran border.

The ISPR had said in a statement that the terrorists started firing on the security personnel patrolling at Jal Gayi sector on the Pakistan-Iran border which resulted in the death of four soldiers.

It is pertinent to mention here that on April 7, the National Security Committee (NSC) approved a multi-pronged comprehensive operation with the support of the government and the nation to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country with a new resolve, determination and valour.

The federal ministers, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, services chiefs and high-ranking officers of the departments concerned attended the meeting.
