LAHORE: Lashing out at his critics, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said no sit-in protest could succeed against development ride in the country, ARY News reported.
Talking to a delegation of journalists and intellectuals from Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtonkhwa, the CM Punjab said the those unnecessarily criticizing him had projects surrounded by massive corruption during their tenure.
“People are well sensitized to differentiate between public servants and those indulging in politics of protest,” said Sharif.
He said previous rulers committed criminal negligence on Nandipur Power Project and put at stake the future of millions of Pakistanis.
He added that the incumbent government completed the same project in mere seven months, due to coordinated team work.
