Eleven Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) activists and a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) worker was killed when two groups clashed against each at Daraza polling station in Khairpur.

According to a spokesman of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the provincial government is writing a letter to Chief Justice of Sindh High Court to carry out the investigation of the clash and appoint a SHC judge for the judicial investigation.

Sources stated that the suspects were lying in wait for PML-F leader Ismail Shah Rashidi and opened fire on him. However, the leader remained safe but his accomplices were killed in the process.
