I pray that Imran Khan gets elected, says Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI: President of the Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, has advised former president Pervez Musharraf not to return to Pakistan.

Talking to the media after offering Eid prayers in Rawalpindi, Rasheed said it was his free advice to Musharraf that he should not return to the country. Commenting on the general elections 2018, the AML chief said that he prays that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan is elected.

Rasheed expressed his optimism of securing at least 0.1 million votes in the 2018 elections. He claimed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was punished for money laundering. He added, “I am not a money launderer.”
