SHC hears Ayyan’s plea for removing name from ECL

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday heard a plea filed by model Ayyan Ali seeking removal of her name from the Exit Control List, ARY News reported.

A SHC bench heard a petition filed by Ayyan Ali which stated that her name was not removed from the Exit Control List by the concerned authorities despite the court orders and sought an action against the concerned officials.

Attorney General asked for more time from the court as he didn’t receive the detailed copy of the Supreme Court of Pakistan order regarding removal of Ayyan’s name from the ECL.

The judge remarked that a new order could not be given in the case till the perusal of the order of the apex court.

A three-member bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday ordered removal of Ayyan Ali’s name from the Exit Control List on January 30th.
