According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to raise the matter in the United Nations. He has also written a letter to Foreign Ministry and Defence officials to discuss the matter with India.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry lodged its protest with India over the killing of Pakistani civilians by summoning their High Commissioner T.C. Raghabavan to the Foreign Office.
Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry, while condemning the killing of Pakistani civilians, said that India deliberately targets Pakistani civilians.

According to details, Indian border troops on Thursday night opened unprovoked fire in Charwah Sector at Mandarwal, Khurd, Kalan and Gujran villages killing at least nine people including a woman.
Fourty-eight persons including eight children and 12 women were injured in Indian shelling. The injured were transferred to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for medical attendance.
Chenab Rangers responded to the shelling from the other side of the border and silenced the Indian guns, security sources said.
Scores of civilians have been killed in the incidents of firing along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary between Pakistan and India.
