ISLAMABAD: Mian Raza Rabbani has withdrawn his decision of resignation and vowed to continue to work as chairman Senate.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced this after a meeting with Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani at his residence in Islamabad on Saturday.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar conveyed the message of the prime minister to Raza Rabbani.

The finance minister also assured the chairman Senate about presence of the ministers during proceedings of the House. He said all the ministers would be strictly bound to give preference to parliamentary business.
He said Senate session will start from Monday and notice to this effect will be issued on Sunday.
The chairman Senate had stopped working and refused to conduct proceedings of the Upper House and later offered to resign in protest against constant absence of ministers from the House.
“We have failed to protect sanctity of the House,” Rabbani had said in an interaction with journalists after the session.
