Security forces foil terror bid to storm their camp in Khyber Agency

RAWALPINDI: Security Forces foiled a terror bid by two suicide bombers to storm Frontier Constabulary (FC)’s camp in Khyber Agency’s Jarobi area on Pak-Afghan border, ARY News reported on Friday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) statement, the terrorists from across the border tried to attack Misthara post located near Pak-Afghan border on which FC personnel effectively responded and engaged with the attackers, shooting dead one of the suicide bomber at entrance of the camp.

In retaliatory firing by FC personnel, the second attacker blew himself up near the entrance of the camp after getting failed to storm the post, ISPR statement further said.

Two FC personnel also sustained injuries while foiling the terror bid. The injured personnel were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar for medical treatment.

The paramilitary force has cordoned off the area and launched search operation after the incident.
