The disturbance caused suspension of the registration process for some time. The registration process was started for the migrants who reached in Peshawar and adjoining areas after a military offensive started against militants in North Waziristan region.
The number of the IDPs has reached to 759835 persons, sources said. The registration office has registered 59,705 families of the IDPs so far.
The ministry of finance has submitted a report to the prime minister about the displaced persons. According to the ministry the government has released 4.28 billion rupees for the IDPs.
An official of FATA Disaster Management Authority has said that the mobile sim mechanism has been introduced to pay the relief money to the IDPs. It will help the displaced persons to avoid long queues, the official said.
