Addressing a ceremony here, Chaudhry Sarwar said that corruption has permeated into politicians and its cure is only possible through a surgical operation, not by aspirin.
He regretted that he could not help the needy during his governorship, despite a strong will to do that.
Sarwar said that the current government seems to have failed in resolving public issues.
“The government, which could not perform in a hundred days, can turn no stones in its five years tenure”, he added.
