Elsewhere, at a talk that he gave at George Washington University in Washington, DC, activist Jibran Nasir paid tribute to Sabeen Mahmud’s work and legacy.
In addition to this, a vigil for the activist was held by students at several campuses in the country’s northeast, including Columbia, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University.
