Rangers recover schoolboy’s body after two years of his missing

KARACHI: Rangers on Thursday recovered dead body of a schoolboy after two years of his abduction and murder in Karachi, ARY News reported.

Lyari Gang War (LGW) members had abducted and murdered the student of grade 9th, Yaseen alias Munna, in 2016. The body has been recovered from Ali Hamal Goth’s cemetery after one of the three arrested LGW suspects, Asad, confessed of the murder and pointed out about it during interrogation, the Rangers spokesman said.

It was not a kidnapping for ransom incident, but the abduction was made only to diffuse terror in the area. While, parents of the children had filed a case and enlisted their child as a missing person with court.

A DNA report received today had revealed that he was the same boy, said the spokesman adding that further interrogation from the suspects was underway.

The arrested criminals belong to Ghaffar Chotu faction of LGW.

Rangers have said the young boy was abducted and killed as a part of terror agenda launched by the LGW across the city in 2014, 2015 and 2016 in which similar felonies were committed, mostly, around Lyari and Malir.
