KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall in various parts of Sindh, including the provincial capital on Sunday.
The Met Office said a fresh westerly wave is likely to enter Balochistan on Saturday (night) and likely to grip parts of the country until Sunday.
Widespread rain with thunderstorm and snowfall over the hills (with isolated heavy falls) accompanied by gusty winds is expected in Balochistan, while at scattered places in Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, D.G khan, D.I khan, Multan, Kohat, Bannu divisions.
Rain with thunderstorm is also expected at isolated places in Karachi, Bahawalpur and Sargodha divisions.
In the past 24 hours, mainly cold and dry weather was experienced in most parts of the country. However, it rained with thunderstorm at isolated places in Quetta, Makran and Kalat divisions.

The minimum temperature was recorded at -07°C in Kalam, followed by -06°C in Astore, -03°C in Parachinar, Gupis, and -02°C in Hunza and Malamjabba, -01°C in Chitral, Dir, Mirkhani, Drosh & Skardu.
