Rafique calls Imran establishment's 'pawn'

Talking to media after the hearing of an election petition regarding NA-125, Lahore, Saad Rafique slammed Imran Khan saying that it was not the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), which recommended Najam Sethi as the caretaker chief minister of Punjab.

He said that the PTI chairman remembers only a few names and so he never stops short in naming Najam Sethi to vent his anger.

The Minister for Railways submitted his statement before the elections tribunal and said that his opponents have no evidence of rigging against him.

He said that the PTI chairman and his fellows acted as the ‘horses’ backed by the then establishment during the General Elections 2013.

Speaking about the Karachi Operation, Saad Rafique said that Rangers operation in Karachi is aimed at eliminating criminals and it is not against any political party.

However, he requested the Karachi-based political parties to detach themselves from their militant wings.

“Gone are the days of TT and KK now in Karachi,” added Rafique.
