RAWALPINDI: Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah on Monday met chief of army staff General Raheel Sharif and presented a 50 million rupees cheque for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), ARY News reported.
According to details, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah met COAS Raheel Sharif and assured full co-operation for operation Zarb-e-Azb, a Pakistani military offensive against terrorists in North Waziristan.
Shah along with PPP leaders, Khursheed Shah and Zamarud Khan also met CM KPK Pervez Khattak and promised to send a medical team to KPK for serving IDPs.
Pervez Khattak thanked CM Sindh for releasing the amount for IDPs and helping KPK government in this hour of test.
