LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar on Monday visited the house of Chaudhry Brothers and met with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervez Elahi, ARY News reported.
The Punjab governor inquired about the health of PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. He prayed for the quick recovery of the political leader.
The meeting also discussed the overall political situation of Punjab province including Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March.
Earlier in the day, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar also visited the house of Chaudhry Brothers and met with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervez Elahi.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the ongoing intense political situation in the country, including the JUI-F’s planned Islamabad sit-in.
The CM also prayed for the health of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Chaudhry Shafey Husain and member of the National Assembly (NA) Chaudhry Salik Hussain were also present on the occasion.
Earlier on Sunday, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen inquired about the health of PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. He prayed for quick recovery of the political leader.
PTI leader also met with Speaker Punjab Assembly, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to the overall political situation and mutual interest mattes were discussed.
It may be noted that the PML-Q chief was under treatment in Germany, due to his illness.
Back in the month of August, a member of Chaudhry family had dismissed the baseless reports of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s death.
