PTI to hold rallies against ‘failed govt policies’

Tehreek-i-Insaf will take to streets in different cities on Saturday against Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) privatization, unsatisfactory cut in petroleum prices, Orange Line Metro Train project and other ‘failed plans of the government’.

The demonstrations will be held in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan will lead the protest at Star Gate, Karachi at 1 pm, which will be attended by local political figures, party activists and general public.

PTI leader Saifullah Niazi was tasked to lead a protest rally in Islamabad from PTI central secretariat to Aabpara Chowk.

A rally in Lahore will be held at Charing Cross at 2 pm under the supervision of Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed.

In Peshawar, a protest rally will be taken out from press club at 1 pm, which will be led by Arbab Nisar.

Imran Khan, in his message on the occasion, said that inflation, unemployment and ‘cruel’ government policies have made life difficult for the people and the time has come for them to stand up for their rights.

He urged the masses to put all fears aside tomorrow and raise their voice against injustices by the government.
