The seat had fallen vacant after former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Nabil Gabol resigned as the member of National Assembly.
Several PTI leaders including Imran, Ismail, Nazia Rabbani and Firdous Naqvi have acquired the nomination papers. The party is expected to announce the final candidate on Tuesday (tomorrow).
The by-election will be held on 23rd April.
