PTI not to hold jalsa at Jinnah Ground: sources

The popular Shahrah-e-Pakistan is a busy street stretching from Water Pump to Karimabad flyover.

According to sources, PTI is considering to change its rally venue, scheduled on April 19, after Imran’s statement that Jinnah Ground might not have enough capacity to accommodate all PTI workers and supporters.

According to PTI candidate in NA-246 Imran Ismail, the PTI has its plan intact so far that rally will be held at Jinnah Ground, but since Khan sahib

raised points over the ground’s capacity, then we might change the location.

PTI faced another tough time in Nine Zero when it rallied towards Jinnah Road led by party chairman Imran Khan. Key MQM leaders welcomed Mr. Khan upon his arrival at Jinnah Ground, however scuffles broke out between workers of MQM and PTI shortly after the reception. Khan, who had arrived with his wife, left the venue amid growing tension.
