PTI-led govt to fulfill all promises: Punjab CM

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government will fulfill all the promises made with the masses.

He stated this while talking to PTI’s Secretary General Arshad Daad in Lahore today. Whereas Arshad Daad said party workers will be taken along in party affairs and joint work will further strengthen PTI.

Earlier on July 09, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chief Imran Khan had unveiled the party’s election manifesto, saying if it is voted to power it would create massive job opportunities, build low-cost houses for poor, and tackle corruption and the water crisis.

Mr. Khan had said he would turn the country into a welfare state after winning power. Highlighting the salient features of the manifesto, he said his party’s first challenge will be tackling unemployment and creating jobs.

He had said the party will construct 5 million houses for the poor and provide 10 million jobs over five years’ term.

“I know it is not easy but we are committed to facilitate building of 5 million houses. Government won’t build houses. Private sector will be engaged for the purpose as new companies will get a chance and hence new jobs will be created.”

Mr. Khan said small industries act as the backbone of the country; therefore, his party will facilitate young entrepreneurs by reducing startup cost.

Imran said he would depoliticize and strengthen the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other state institutions to battle corruption as 10 billion dollars are laundered and sent abroad every year.
