PTI to flex political muscles in Quetta after five years

QUETTA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is all set to flex its political muscles today (Friday) here at Ayub Stadium where the PTI top brass including Imran Khan and other leaders will address a public rally, ARY News reported.

All arrangements have been finalised at the Ayub Stadium to host the participants while the venue has been decorated with party posters and flags.

The PTI Chief, Imran Khan, in a video message has appealed the people of Balochistan – particularly people of Quetta – to participate in the public gathering.

“I am coming to Quetta after five years to hold a public gathering, on the occasion I invite people of Quetta at Ayub Stadium at 3pm on Friday. I do hope you people will participate in the public gathering where issues relating to Balochistan would also be discussed.”

Khan said in his brief video message.


Keeping the local customs in view, separate enclosures for male and female activists and participants have been arranged at the venue. The PTI leadership has anticipated a massive crowd today.
