KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday said that he is confident his party can win 17 to 18 seats out of 21 National Assembly seats in Karachi, ARY News reported.
Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Mustafa Kamal maintained that his party’s competition is only with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on “three to four seats” in Karachi not the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
“I am saying this because I have seen public response. Moreover, both these parties (MQM and PPP) have ruled the province and the city and today, when they are demanding votes they are doing it on sewerage water, dilapidated roads and dirty alleys so I am confident we can beat them,” said Mustafa Kamal.
He was of the view that he was the first to raise voice against MQM founder Altaf Hussain and has come a long way since then so he is hopeful people of the city will not reject his party.
More than 105.9 million voters in Pakistan will elect their representatives for National Assembly and the four provincial assemblies on Wednesday, July 25.
