A large number of Pakistanis, belonging to different walks of life, marched towards the Indian consulate in Park Town. They carried placards and posters with slogans condemning Narendra Modi government and Indian-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan by means of its covert agency Research & Analysis Wing (RAW).
The protesters contended that India has continuously been funding and facilitating terrorism in Pakistan.
The operative had contacts with banned organizations and was working on plans to break Karachi and Balochistan away from Pakistan, and to sabotage the billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
On March 25, a day after the arrest, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said the Indian man arrested from Balochistan has no connection with the government, however, admitted that Kulbhushan Yadav is a former officer of the Indian navy.
“He (Yadav) acquired premature retirement from the Indian navy and since then the government has nothing to do with him,” said Vikas Swarup, a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, requesting Pakistan to grant counsellor access to the ‘arrested Indian citizen’.
Indian Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) RK Dhowan also confirmed that Indian spy agency Research and Analysis (RAW) officer Kulbhushan Yadav had served in the Indian navy.
“Don’t remember anything of him, only know he was in Navy. After that no contact,” an Indian news agency quoted Dhowan as saying.
Pakistan has long been accusing India of sponsoring terrorist outfits in its Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), Balochistan and Karachi.

In October, 2015, Pakistan provided evidences of Indian involvement in destabilizing it by supporting terrorist groups to the United Nations (UN). Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations (UN), Dr Maliha Lodhi had provided the dossiers to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in a meeting held on the sidelines of 70th session of the UN General Assembly.
Later, the same evidences were provided to the United States (US). Pakistan’s Special Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, in his meetings with senior US officials, provided three dossiers that carried evidences substantiating Indian involvement in subversive activities inside Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) said on November 20 that the dossiers Aziz had handed to the US during his visit to Washington were based on “hard and irrefutable” evidence of RAW’s involvement in Pakistan.
