LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has said that his party wants democratic accountability of the Sharif family in the Panamagate case, ARY News reported.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was speaking to media outside the shrine of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh in Lahore.
He arrived at the Sufi poet’s shrine and offered Fateha at his grave.
The PPP chief said that accountability movement will be launched against the federal government if his four demands are not met.
“I came to the shrine to pray for the success of my movement,” Bilawal said.
Bilawal said that the party will increase the number of political activities taking place in Punjab. He added that his movement will be brought to its logical conclusion as well.
He said that the party wants democratic accountability in the Panamagate case. He added that the federal government should be held accountable over failing to end terrorism.
“We want an effective foreign policy and an active foreign ministry,” he added.
