Islamabad Police reached the office of Sarfaraz, however he was not there.
The federal government has already issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the two PTI leaders.
The case is registered against the two leaders at Margala Police Station. They are accused of intervening in government affairs and getting some prisoners freed from a police station during PTI sit-in in Islamabad.
PTI chairman Imran Khan has strongly condemned the attempts to arrest PTI leaders.
PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazari said the two PTI representatives were being subjected to personal vendetta.
