KASUR: Police on Saturday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers during a raid in a Pattoki locality, ARY News reported.
According to police, the raid was conducted within the limits of Allahabad police station, which led to arrest of four suspected robbers.
A police official said the arrested robbers were involved in more than 31 robberies, adding arms and ammunition were seized from their possession.
Two motorcycles, Rs100,000 in cash and seven mobile phones were also seized from them, he added.
It is noteworthy that the Attock police had last Saturday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers who used to loot people by impersonating as security personnel.

The Saddar police arrested five members of a gang that used to rob people of their valuables and cash wearing uniforms of security personnel. They were also involved in breaking into houses in the city and looting jewellery.
A police official said Rs900,000 in cash and ornaments were seized from the possession of the held robbers. Arms and ammunition, including two Kalashnikovs, a pistol and security personnel’s uniforms were also recovered from their possession.
He said the suspected robbers had confessed to robbing a bank in Rawalpindi, adding they were wanted in criminal cases in different parts of the province.
