Karachi: Multiple areas of the metropolitan received mild rain on Tuesday while the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rainfall in different districts of Sindh, ARY News reported.
According to details, multiple regions of the city including Surjani town, Teesar towm, Sohrab Goth, Bahadurabad, New Karachi, Hub, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulzar-e-Hijri, Old Sabzi Mandi, Laiquatabad, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, KDA Scheme one and Karsaz received mild rain on Tuesday afternoon.
Moreover, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has predicted further rainfall in multiple districts of Sindh. Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, and Badin would receive mild to heavy rainfall in the coming 2-3 days, he said.
Sardar added that Karachi received rainfall on Monday due to a locally formed system due to high heat. The absence of sea wind caused high humidity in the city on Monday, he added.

Sardar predicted that the low-pressure system, present in the Gujrat region of India, could result in rainfall in multiple regions of Sindh.
Parts of Karachi on Monday received heavy to moderate rainfall with the Met Office forecasting that suburban areas of the city will receive downpours till tomorrow.
According to the PMD, the areas that witnessed heaving rainfall along with gusty winds included Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Saddar, Bin Qasim, Razzaqabad, Superhighway, Nooriabad, Kathore, Malir, Landhi, Korangi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, locality surrounding Karachi airport and other areas.
