PM for peaceful resolution of all disputes with India

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan is willing to resolve all disputes with India through peaceful resolution, ARY News reported Wednesday.

The PM expressed his wish in a letter to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. He said it was vital to work together for welfare of people.

Analysts have termed the PM’s letter to Indian prime minister as a positive gesture, which will help strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. They said Prime Minister Sharif was the first international leader to have congratulated Modi on winning Indian general elections.

They were of the view that PM Sharif’s decision to attend Modi’s swearing-in ceremony had given birth to a new era in the region.

Besides, the PM also sent a gift of ‘Sari’ to Modi’s mother that was also seen a good gesture, believed the analysts.
