Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to watch the Pakistan-India Asia Cup clash in Dubai on Wednesday, sources privy to the matter said.
Cricketer-turned-politician who led the Pakistan team to the 1992 World Cup triumph, will be in the stands to watch the game of arch-rivals tomorrow.
Earlier today, PM Khan left for his first foreign visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Foreign Minister, finance minister, adviser to PM on finance and other federal ministers are accompanying the prime minister during his visit.
The official invitation was delivered by Saudi Information Minister Awwad Al-Awwad during his recent visit to Pakistan.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are set to discuss many important bilateral, regional and International issues during the visit. Similarly, matters related to welfare of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia and ways to enhance people to people contact are likely to come up for the discussions.
After concluding his visit of Saudi Arabai, PM Khan will then fly to UAE on Wednesday.
