PM Imran to depart for China on November 3

ISLAMABAD: After Saudi visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for the official visit of China on November 3, ARY News reported.

According to details, this will be the second foreign tour of Prime Minister Imran Khan since he assumed the office. Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, Railways Minister, Planning Minister and Information Minister will accompany PM Khan on the trip.

The Premier will attend a number of important meetings in China during his four-day long visit. The matters of mutual cooperation and discussion on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are expected to be on the agenda of official meetings.

Two days ago, the Prime Minister presided over a high-level meeting to discuss his upcoming visit to China and review the projects falling under the umbrella of multi-billion China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan’s ties with “all weather friend” China are cornerstone of the country’s foreign policy and vowed to further expand ties between the two countries in the days to come.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Prime minister in his recent Balochistan visit had said that his government was reviewing the projects under the CPEC with a view to addressing the reservations of the province.

He said the progress of Pakistan was linked to the development of Balochistan. The federal government would extend every possible cooperation to Balochistan in the financial crisis being faced by it, he added.
