PM Khan meets Saudi King Salman

RIYADH: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday held a meeting with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Riyadh.

The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the prime minister at Al-Yamamah palace here today, according to Saudi Press Agency.

During the meeting, they reviewed close relations between the two countries and latest developments in the region.
Matters pertaining to mutual interest, trade, investment and economic ties also came under discussion during the meeting.Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, and Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Industry Abdul Razzak Dawood accompanied the premier during the meeting.

Mr Khan is in Riyadh in connection with the ongoing ‘Future Investment Initiative Conference.

The conference, according to Saudi officials, will bring leading businessmen, investors, corporate giants, representatives of hi-tech industry and major media outlets at one platform.

The PM’s participation in the first day of the conference was aimed at projecting Pakistan’s economic and investment potential as well as its vision for the next five years.
