ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Nasir-ul-Mulk on Monday said defence of Pakistan’s airspace was in safe hands and the devotion to duty and professionalism of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was commendable.
He said this during visit to Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra.
The prime minister was briefed about PAC’s role in modernizing PAF and indigenous production of multi-role jet fighter JF-17.
He commended PAC’s ventures in planning, designing and production of state-of-the-art and modern jet aircrafts strengthen Pakistan’s defence.
Last year in September, the then prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi visited an operational air base of PAF in Sargodha and became first premier to fly in a F-16 fighter jet.
