KARACHI: The weather turned pleasant in the metropolis after rain lashed several parts of the city on Wednesday afternoon, ARY News reported.
The rainfall hit Saddar, Gushan-e-Maimar, Korangi, Malir, Gulistan-e-Johar, Malir, Gulishan-e-Hadeed and other areas. Also, with the first drop of rain, many areas plunged into darkness.
Chief Meteorologist Tauseef Alam has said that the city would receive light rain during the next 24 hours.
Hours ago, The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) had predicted that drizzle and heavy rain will continue across Pakistan for next 24 hours.
According to Meteorological Department, rain-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) is expected at scattered places in Sindh, eastern Balochistan (Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions) and south Punjab (Bahawalpur, Multan, Sahiwal, D.G.Khan divisions).
