Plane crash landing probe reveals pilot was ‘drunk’

According to probe, the blood sample of the pilot was also taken and it emerged that the pilot was under the influence of alcohol.

Following this report, the director general of Civil Aviations Authority has ordered medical test of all cabin crews and airline staff.

The Karachi-Lahore flight NL-142 was carrying over 250 passengers when it made an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport on November 3.

All the tyres of the plane burst after it touched down. It is  reported that the gears also malfunctioned, prompting pilot to make emergency landing.
