PIA Joint Action Committee files application to register case against killing of employees

In the application filed by the Joint Action Committee, request has been made to file a case against Shujaat Azeem, Mushahidullah and the Interior Ministry. In response to this, the court issued a notice to the concerned departments to present themselves before the court tomorrow.

According to the postmortem report of Inayat Raza, who was killed in yesterday’s protest, the bullet pierced his chest from the left hand and came out from the right hand through the stomach. The victim was shot from a distance of four to six feet.

A report by the additional police surgeon regarding Saleem Akber, who also died in the same protest, also surfaced. As per the report, the bullet pierced his left side of the chest and exited via the stomach from the right side, causing his death.

DIG East Kamran Fazal said lots of evidence had been collected and bullet shells had been sent for forensic tests. Perpetrators of the act would be identified in a day or two, he also said.
