PESHAWAR: Former chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak on Monday said whatever decision Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will take regarding appointment of chief minister of the province he would accept it.
“Imran’s word will be final. However, so far no decision has been taken in this regard,” he said while talking to media in Peshawar.
To a query, he said he had no demand from the party chief, neither there was any grouping in the party.
In a statement on Sunday, Imran announced to name chief minister of KP by Tuesday.
“I have decided about chief minister of KP which I will announce in the next 48 hours. Whatever I have decided in this regard is in the best interest of people,” he said.
The PTI chief had asked the KP MPAs that nobody should try to lobby for anyone as he would not be blackmailed for the chief minister’s name.
