QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan on Thursday said that restoration of durable peace in the province was the top priority of his government.
Addressing a passing out parade of the 9th basic training course of anti terrorism force in Quetta, CM Jam Kamal said, ‘Since assumption of power, the government is endeavoring for restoration of peace in the province and achievements of the government are visible to all.’
The chief minister also addressed faculty members and under-training officers of Command and Staff College in Quetta today. He apprised the participants of the course about steps taken by the current government for good governance in the province.

Earlier, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal, on March 12, had presided over an apex committee meeting attended by civil and military officials.
A meeting of the apex committee was chaired by chief minister Jam Kamal, which was also attended by Corps commander Southern command Lt General Asim Bajwa, home minister, and other military and police officials.
The apex committee of Balochistan had vowed to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) in its letter and spirit across the province.
