Sources told that the session would continue till Friday. It is learnt that a resolution might be adopted in the session to get the red zone cleared in Islamabad, which is occupied by protesters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek for a month.
In a
resolution, it will be stressed upon the government to get the red zone cleared through police and army. The government would also be urged to ensure speedy implementation of the resolution, sources added.The joint session of the parliament held its first sitting on September 2.
