LAHORE: Upon request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the government has placed names of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passport has issued notification regarding inclusion of their names in the blacklist.
Sources said Chief Executive Paragon Housing Scheme Qaiser Amin Butt was also barred from travelling abroad by placing his name on the ECL.

The anti-graft body is investigating the housing scheme scandal.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Islamabad High Court (LHC) turned down Saad Rafique’s plea against his possible arrest by the NAB.
Last month, Khawaja Saad Rafique appeared before a NAB team to answer its queries over his alleged involvement in the Paragon Housing Society corruption scandal.
NAB had launched an investigation into the scandal after protests by dozens of victims against the housing society fraud.
